6 December 2011: New community resource for Tenterden gains Archbishop’s blessing as St Andrew’s Catholic Church’s Parish Centre is opened
Tenterden, Tuesday 6th December 2011 – Most Reverend Peter Smith, Archbishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Southwark, visited Tenterden on Sunday 4th December 2011 to bless and formerly open a valuable new community resource for the town and surrounding villages. After celebrating Mass, Archbishop Peter was joined by Parishioners and special guests, which included the Mayors of Tenterden and Ashford and Member of Parliament for Ashford Damian Green, at a reception in the new Parish Centre, putting its facilities to the test at its first major function.
